New England Coffee Company
A Tradition for Four Generations
New England Coffee, headquartered in Malden, Massachusetts,
is the largest coffee roaster in New England and one of the largest independent
roasters in the country. For four generations, the company has had a
single-minded dedication to the art of roasting coffee.
“Our methods are anything but cutting edge. In fact, we’ve
changed very little during our 88 years,” says Mr. James Kaloyanides, New
England Coffee Company president. “We start with the finest Arabica beans, and
roast them using a single-batch method that huge commercial companies can’t
replicate. This process relies more on experience than mechanics to select the
best beans. It’s the only way we know to assure a consistently great tasting
cup of coffee.”
A Blended Family of Flavors
New England Coffee produces five coffee categories:
“Flavored” coffees – created by combining the New England Breakfast Blend with
the finest flavorings (with no fat or cholesterol); “Blends” – a mixture of two
or more coffees, which compliment each other’s taste; “Varieties” – straight,
unblended coffees, offering the flavor of their distinct bean varieties; “Decaf”
– 97% caffeine-free with all the great taste of regular coffee; and finally a
“French Roast” – for those who love drip-brewing or espresso.
