Ken Atkinson

Chairman of the Board

 

 

Ken Atkinson serves as Chairman of the Board of Douglas Sales Associates and brings more than 45 years of experience in the food brokerage industry. He began his career in 1977 as a retail salesperson calling on local supermarkets, quickly advancing to Retail Supervisor and then Headquarter Account Manager.

In 1998, Ken became Co-Owner and President of Douglas Sales, partnering with John Pavlik and Roni Potocco, and helped lead the company through decades of growth and change. In January 2023, he transitioned to his current role as Chairman, where he remains actively involved with vendors, customers, and the broader direction of the business.

Ken serves on the Board of Directors for the Eastern Frozen & Refrigerated Association (EFRA). He is also a member of USA Triathlon and an Ironman finisher. Ken is a graduate of Ramapo College of New Jersey.
